The 60 Minute Diets Thanksgiving “Survival Guide”
Here are a few, simple tips and tricks to follow tomorrow to help keep the weight off!
- Portion control: take some stuffing, but just a tiny scoop
- Cranberry sauce > Gravy: even if the only kind your family serves is shaped like a can, it still adds massive flavor to your turkey without all the fat!
- Pumpkin pie is your best bet. Skip the whipped cream and ice cream and cut off the back crust. Save yourself some calories and still get the Vitamin A and fiber packed dessert
- Chew on gum during appetizers. Save your appetite for the real meal
- Don’t go back for seconds. If there are leftovers, grab some for FRIDAY
And the biggest rule:
Enjoy the friends and family you are surrounded with. They are your focus, not the food!
